We need an economy that works for everyone, not just those at the very top. For too long, working families have carried the weight of an economy that hasn’t always returned the same commitment to them. I believe that when people work hard, they should be able to support their families, build stability, and look toward the future with confidence and dignity.

I will fight for working families by championing policies that ensure every worker earns a living wage and is able to work in safe, respectful conditions. No one should have to choose between putting food on the table and protecting their health or safety on the job. Work should be a pathway to opportunity, not a struggle just to get by.

That’s why I will stand firmly for the rights of workers to organize and bargain collectively. Strong workplaces and strong communities go hand in hand, and when workers have a voice, our economy becomes fairer, more resilient, and prosperous for everyone. Together, we can build an economy that truly rewards hard work and leaves no family behind.
